What ice phishing is

Ice phishing tricks you into signing a token approval that gives an attacker permission to move your tokens. Unlike classic phishing, it never asks for your seed phrase — it only needs one approval signature.

Why it is dangerous

The approval can be unlimited and never expires. The attacker can drain that token days or weeks later, long after you left the site and forgot about it.

How to stay safe

Read every approval request. Reject unlimited approvals on sites you do not fully trust. Periodically review and revoke old approvals. Use a tool that explains in plain language what a signature actually grants before you approve it.
