Setting approval limits instead of unlimited access

Many apps default to unlimited approvals for convenience. A specific limit caps how much a contract can ever move.

If the approved contract is later compromised, a capped approval limits the damage to that amount rather than your whole balance.

Choose a custom amount when your wallet offers it, re-approve as needed, and revoke afterward. Slightly less convenient, much safer.
