Trust Line is a browser extension that helps protect you from crypto phishing and wallet-draining attacks. This policy explains what the extension does and does not collect, and how any data is used. Our guiding principle is simple: the extension should protect you without watching you.

What we do NOT collect

• Your private keys or seed phrase. Trust Line never has access to them and will never ask for them. No legitimate tool ever should.
• Your full browsing history. The extension does not log or transmit the list of sites you visit.
• Your wallet balances or transaction contents as a stored record tied to your identity.
• Personal identifiers such as your name, email, or IP address for tracking purposes.

How site checks work

Most checks run locally in your browser. When you visit a site, the extension compares it against locally stored rules and reputation data. A domain is only sent to our servers when a rule actually needs a server-side lookup — for example, to confirm whether a newly seen domain is a known phishing clone. In that case we receive the domain being checked, never your full history and never the contents of the page.

What limited data may be processed

• Domain lookups: when a check requires it, the domain (not the full URL, not page content) is sent to our servers to return a safety verdict.
• Aggregate, anonymous telemetry: we may collect anonymous counts (e.g. how many phishing sites were blocked) to improve detection. This is not tied to your identity.

How data is used

Any data described above is used solely to provide and improve the security features of the extension — detecting phishing sites, flagging dangerous signatures, and updating our threat rules. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not build a profile of you.

Signature and transaction warnings

When the extension warns you about a signature request (such as an unlimited token approval or a Permit signature), that analysis happens in your browser at the moment you are about to sign. The decision to sign or reject always remains yours.

Data sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties for their own use. We may use infrastructure providers (such as hosting) strictly to operate the service, under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

Anonymous telemetry and threat data are retained only as long as needed to operate and improve detection. Because we do not collect personal identifiers, this data is not linked to you.

Your choices

You can uninstall the extension at any time from your browser, which stops all processing. You control which wallets you connect and which signatures you approve.

Children

Trust Line is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the extension evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
